The Wearies And The Worries
Who are the wearies and the worries?
The wearies are people who are burnt out, exhausted, and crushed by the burden in their lives, and as much as they strive for perfection through carrying the weight of their own responsibility, they find it difficult to do so because they could not charge towards the relief their lives yearn for.
And also, the worries are folks consumed by anxiety, unease, distress, and fear about what is ahead of them, and that often makes them distracted and restless from trying to take care of their worries.
Together, the wearies and the worries describes anyone carrying a mental or emotional load that leaves them depleted. As it takes an extremely negative toll on you. Throughout the Word of God, it is a call for those who are struggling to find spiritual relief, comfort, and peace.
And such was the case study of the Israelites in the hands of their adversaries who had been lording it over them, setting taskmasters over them, and they were wearied and worried under the burden of the taskmasters and Pharaoh.
However, what they did not know is that there had been a visitation to one of them who was wearied and worried, that he would die by the hand of Pharaoh should he return to the land of Egypt.
For it does not matter what is making you weary and worried. One thing that you must wait on is the approval from God, for as long as God declared He has given you the authority over your adversaries, you must arise and take over despite your weariness and worry.
For Moses would not linger long in the midst of his weariness and worry, as soon as he received the confirmation from God and, in addition, the signs and wonders he encountered, he would not allow his worry to take over anymore.
And ever since God has given Moses the audacity to go and take charge, he became unstoppable, undefeated, and a deliverer to his people because he stood on the word of God.
The reason many folks today are still living in the state of weariness and worry is because they find it difficult to hear twice when God spoke once. They allow their weariness and worry to overshadow the voice of God in their lives.
They are not inclined to see or hear what the Lord will speak or show, hence the reason they remain wearied and worried and could not arise and charge against the powers, the anxieties, the depression lording it over them.
The word of God this morning is calling unto the wearied. It is calling unto the worried that there is a Spirit of the Almighty made available for you to release yourself to so that He can take care of your weariness and worry, somebody.
For without the Spirit of the Lord possessing you to cast out the spirit that makes you wearied and worried, I can assure you that it will be difficult to chase what has been chasing you. Without His Spirit, it will be difficult to have the freedom your soul desires.
The Spirit of the Lord that could bring us out of weariness and worry has been made available to us through Christ Jesus, and the Bible already says we should cast our burden unto Him for He cares for us.
So beloved, enough of sleeping on what God has made available for us, so as to come out of our weariness and worry. The solution is in the power and the Spirit of the Most High, and all we have to do is to yield to His workings in our lives.
Whatever is making you worried will be taken care of in Christ Jesus. Whatever is making you wearied will be taken care of in the Spirit of the Most High.
Through the Spirit of God, Moses, who once ran for his life so as never to step his foot in the land of Egypt again, found his courage to go into Egypt—not by sneaking back to Egypt but went back boldly to even confront the king and declare the word of God to let His people go.
Why? Because he had been emboldened by the Spirit of God so as not to worry about Pharaoh or anyone who he may be afraid of rising up against him.
Through the demonstration of God's power through the Spirit of God working in Moses, the wearied and worried Israelites also found courage that was forever lost in the past again and plundered the Egyptians before leaving the land of Egypt.
Allowing the Spirit of God to take over our worried and wearied life gives us the upper chance to confront every battle bringing us into weariness and worry, beloved. And when the Spirit of the Lord takes over, then we will take charge of the territory God has given us authority.
And fast forward to us in this generation, God has given us the victory in Christ Jesus, and in this victory, worrying and wearying have no say because the One we believe in and operate in His Spirit is the All in All, and all battles and demons had no choice but to obey.
So no matter what is bringing weariness to you, you have the authority to cast them out, for your body is not their temple, is not their dwelling. They must not lord it over you again. Enough of them worrying you.
If Jehoshaphat can summon his faith and trust in what God can do and rather praise God instead of worrying and becoming wearied, you also gotta summon your faith to praise His name and trust in what He has said concerning your life, and you will go from worrying to rejoicing in the name of Jesus.
Are you the weary or the worried? Arise and take charge of your victory in Christ Jesus.
